How It Works
Liquid medical-grade carbon is applied to the face and allowed to dry, penetrating deep into the pores where it binds to oil, impurities, and dead skin cells.
First Pass — Heating
A low-energy laser passes over the skin, heating the carbon and binding it tightly to all trapped impurities within the pores.
Second Pass — Vaporisation

- Close Shave Required: A close shave on the treatment area is required before your session — carbon paste adheres to facial hair.
- Beards & Stubble: If you have a beard or stubble, the laser cannot safely be used over those areas.
What to Expect & Aftercare
- Sensations A slight tingling or warm pinprick sensation — generally very comfortable throughout.
- Downtime None. Your skin may be mildly flushed for a few hours, then returns to normal.
- Pre-Treatment Avoid retinoids and strong exfoliating acids (e.g. Vitamin C) for 3–5 days prior to your appointment.
- Aftercare Avoid direct sun exposure and wear broad-spectrum SPF daily. Delay washing your face for approximately 12 hours post-treatment and use gentle, hydrating products such as hyaluronic acid in the following days.
